Dynamical Passwords
Review date:September 20, 2001
Version reviewed:1.0
NOTE: the review only pertains to the version/date mentioned above. Subsequent versions could be quite different from the reviewed version.
Review:

Dynamical Passwords is a tiny utility which generates, manages and recovers passwords using a keyword known only to the user and a date.

Users can control the format of the passwords generated – a different mix of alpha and numeric characters.

Using Dynamical Passwords you can replicate any old password as long as you know the date and the keyword. You can also generate passwords daily so that passwords are constantly changing.

Once a series of passwords has been generate by the program, they can be copied and pasted into any on-line form or document.

Passwords and the date they were created for (but not the keyword) can be printed out so you have a hardcopy of your passwords and the date they were generated.

Helpful for managing a complex security system with many, many passwords, or for just keeping on top of a few passwords used on the Net, Dynamical Passwords is a worthwhile tool to have around.
