Sudoku1
Review date:February 9, 2007
Version reviewed:1.1 (see Updates below)
NOTE: the review only pertains to the version/date mentioned above. Subsequent versions could be quite different from the reviewed version.
Review:

Sudoku1 is a clone of the popular numbers puzzle game.

It features 4 levels of difficulty, grid generation, solution proposal, search of all solutions, score, create your own puzzles, print puzzles, undo/redo, and more.

This is an excellent version of this popular puzzle. It offers a variety of puzzle solutions (up to 5 levels of possibility) plus the ability to create your own puzzles.

It even has a mini "game" called Kaleidoscope which offers some visual animations for those times when you are ready to throw a brick through your computer's screen (throwing bricks is not recommended!).

The game itself is much the same as every other version where you build blocks of unique numbers within grids.

Sudoku1 offers good problem solving options, and also the ability to create your own unique puzzles.

If you feel the need to stretch your neurons, then grab a copy of Sudoku1 and get exercising.

We loved!

Note: we have been advised that this program is not suitable for Windows 95.

Update:April 23, 2008

Sudoku1 has been updated to version 2.1.

We have not been advised on the changes made to this version.

Sudoku1 has been updated to version 3.0.
