1-abc.net Powerdart
Review date:July 9, 2004
Version reviewed:1.00 (see Update below)
NOTE: the review only pertains to the version/date mentioned above. Subsequent versions could be quite different from the reviewed version.
Review:

1-abc.net Powerdart is a simple game based off darts where you try and get the highest score.

It features 1- and 2-player modes, you can change the counter to set the number of darts to play, and more.

In this game a yellow block moved from left to right (right to left for the second player in a 2-player game) and, when you think it's in the right position, you press the Q key (P for player 2) for the "dart" to change direction and head towards the target (the blue section of the screen). The ideal is to score the maximum 7 points per "throw".

At the end of the round, the program will tell you the score, though it doesn't save it so you'll have to get a screenshot to brag to your friends.

The game is highly simplistic, lacks virtually any form of eye candy, but is surprisingly addictive.

Suitable for all ages, 1-abc.net Powerdart is a fun little game that is easy to play.

Update:November 10, 2004

1-abc.net Powerdart has been updated to version 1.10.

The author advises that changes in this version include: various improvements under the hood, a new score image, and savable high score list (see main review above).
