Sudoku Assistenten is a program that can help solve, generate, print, rate difficulty, give hints, and make your own Sudoku puzzles.
It features a simple tool to create your own Sudoku puzzles, you can share puzzles online, and more.
For those who don't know, Sudoku is a number-based puzzle that works in a 9 x 9 grid, where every number, from 1 to 9, must be used in each column and in each row. You don't have to add numbers or multiply them, just use each of the nine numbers.
Sudoku Assistenten provides assistance for anyone who enjoys this type of puzzle so that they can create and/or solve these types of puzzles.
The Sudoku creation tool gives a grid with all 9 numbers in each of the 81 squares. As a number is used, so that number is removed from the remaining horizontal and vertical squares – when only one number can fit in a square Sudoku Assistenten inserts it automatically.
Sudokus are a lot of fun to create and to solve and having the added advantage of being able to share puzzles with other fans enhances the whole concept of the game.
We thought it an excellent puzzle creation (and solving) tool.
If you enjoy number-based puzzles of any kind you would be doing yourself a favor to grab Sudoku Assistenten.
Note: we have been advised that this program is not suitable for Windows 95, 98 or ME.
