Scynse-Man (formerly "Skull-Man")
Review date:February 16, 2001
Version reviewed:1.0 (see Updates below)
NOTE: the review only pertains to the version/date mentioned above. Subsequent versions could be quite different from the reviewed version.
Review:

Skull-Man is a Pac-man clone where you move the "hero" though a maze and make him devour all the video wafers and power tablets while avoiding the evil ghosts.

It features high scores, good graphics, addictive gameplay, lots of power-ups, etc.

This is a neat little clone of the famous arcade game which offers most elements necessary to really enjoy a game. There is a nice level of humor and the background music is appropriate to the game.

Overall, we liked Skull-Man and found it a pleasant way to kill an hour or two (or three!).

Worth grabbing!

Update:July 6, 2005

Skull-Man has been updated to version 1.2.

The author advises that changes in this version include: changed the name to Scynse-Man; changed the final stage; game speed increases at higher levels; and some minor changes.

Update:September 6, 2006

Scynse-Man has been updated to version 1.3.

The author advises that changes in this version include: joystick support; full screen mode; configuration & hi-score list are now saved in the game folder; bonus points after beating the final stage; plus various minor and internal changes.

He also says that any older version should be uninstalled before installing the new version.

Update:April 26, 2007
