Storm is a hurricane tracking database for the Gulf of Mexico region.
It includes the NWS/NOAA storm track history from 1944 (when aircraft recon & accuracy began!), statistical analysis, forecasting, multiple plots, plus NWS/NOAA track interface for importing future history updates.
Suitable for Windows (tested on Windows XP without compatibility problems), Storm is an amazing record of hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico and even allows you to add your own tracking information.
Using an old-style interface, Windows users will have to remember that the "U" key is not the same as the "u" key (most interface keys are uppercase) though it doesn't take long to get used to the typical DOS controls.
If you are interested in hurricanes in this region, or sail anywhere around the Gulf of Mexico, Storm is a "must have" program.
