Diary Book
Review date:December 12, 2003
Version reviewed:1.7
NOTE: the review only pertains to the version/date mentioned above. Subsequent versions could be quite different from the reviewed version.
Review:

Diary Book is a lockable & encrypted electronic diary with a diary editor, events reminder, alarm clock, address book, picture manager, built-in mailer, HTML and Web diary.

It features non-rectangular window, facility to post diary pages on the author's Website, and more.

This excellent electronic diary offers much more than most similar programs. Apart from the diary itself, there are a great number of secondary functions, any of which are worth the download on their own.

We were impressed with the unusual layout of the program which uses a non-rectangular window to make it stand out. It offers some nice features – like the ability to increase the size of the diary editing window so you have more space and it is easier to read. The picture manager is probably not its best feature, but there are so many other good aspects to this program, one which isn't as well presented is not so important.

As an electronic diary Diary Book is superb. However, you will need to know that the default password and username to access this program is the word "user". This can be changed after the program has been opened for the first time.

If you wish to keep a secure, password protected electronic diary then Diary Book is worth a look.
